PROBUS Club of Muskoka North launched in 2003 and is one of three PROBUS Clubs in Huntsville. It is a highly active club with over 180 members. The club plays a vital role in stimulating thoughts, interests, and participation at a time in life when it would be easy to be complacent. We are a volunteer non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organization. We encourage healthy minds, bodies, and socialization with other retired or semi-retired people (55+), both couples and singles.
Our members include both new and long-time residents of Muskoka and one of our primary objectives is to help facilitate introductions between members and expand their personal networks. We do this by offering a wide range of experiences and opportunities for socializing.
Our organization hosts monthly meetings with keynote speakers and highlights upcoming events from our diverse interest groups. These groups cater to a range of interests, from book clubs to hiking and paddling. We also keep our members informed about community events in Huntsville. Some of our special events include the hotly contested trivia championship, Murder Mysteries, and a car rally.
Our PROBUS Club members enjoy their food and PROBUS Muskoka North has a wide array of gourmet dining clubs and plus regular visits to the best Muskoka restaurants which are expanding in number and quality.
In 2023, we celebrated our 20th year as a PROBUS Club.

Membership Information
Annual membership fees are very reasonable at $50.00. New members are required to pay an additional initiation fee of $35.00 to cover the cost of name tags and administration. Our membership year runs from September to August and members are asked to renew for the coming year by the end of July.
All Members receive a vibrant monthly newsletter providing member news, and outlining upcoming social events and interest group activities.
