Bob grew up in Shelburne and lived the majority of his life in Brampton. His police career spanned thirty-five years including as Chief of the Halton and York County forces. He retired to Orillia where he has spent twenty-three years as a Rotarian and twenty years volunteering at Orillia Memorial Hospital. Bob and his wife Judy have always been very active curlers. You may have watched their son Wayne bring excitement to the rink with his many Canadian and World championships. Their daughter Karen is a policewoman in Barrie. Bob and Judy were Charter members of the Orillia Probus Club and held numerous management positions. Bob is presently Probus Canada's Director for District Ontario 8 and will bring greetings as we celebrate our 20th year.
After a successful career in music including winning The American Song Festival and costarring in the television program Circus, Sherisse moved to Huntsville in the ‘80s. Through her participation in the Huntsville Musical Society as a conductor and pianist, Rotary musicals, her work with students, as a church organist, and many variety show fundraisers, she has made Muskoka a better place to live. Sherisse is a creative force behind many of the first class productions in our area. The enjoyment she has brought to this community cannot be measured. |
